A little about Ant Download Manager (AntDM)
Oh my God! Another file downloader? - the hapless reader will think and will be right and wrong at the same time. Why file downloaders are so popular and why are there so many of them, if any browser can download any file?
Indeed, any browser can download any file intended for download, but file downloaders have three valuable features that browsers cannot show:
- download the file much faster than the browser (thanks to multi-threading);
- resume the download after an internet connection break, computer shutdown, and so;
- and most importantly - to capture and download files not intended for direct download (audio, video, other content).
AntDM (Ant Download manager) is quite simple to use, because it is very easy to install on Windows, integrates perfectly into the browser and offers a convenient management interface.
First installation
Immediately after the first installation of AntDM, the user will receive a 30-day fully functional Trial license program. After the end of the trial period, the program will switch to Free license. However, the free version will suffice for most downloads.
When you first open the interface, you will see a window that is normal for any other manager. In the upper part of the main window of the program, you will get shortcuts to enter the URL of the page, manage downloads and settings - everything is familiar. The left column gives you access to your download history, be it video, music or even images. The central honor of the interface is the task list for downloads. If your main goal is to download media content, then this list can be switched to the video downloads download mode. It contains thumbnail previews and detailed information of each video file.
Browser Integration
One of the main advantages of AntDM is its enhanced browser integration. AntDM perfectly integrates into all popular browsers Chrome, Firefox and in their numerous clones, EDGE (chromium project).
In the base browsers integration occurs automatically, the user only has to agree to a request from the browser itself to install a new extension.

Download file
It's simple. The browser itself can download and save such a file, but it will probably make it less quickly and conveniently. AntDM simply intercepts the download link from the browser and offers to download it, saving it in any convenient place for you.

Capture and download audio or video content
When a user visits the video hosting page, the browser launches the video player. It is the video player that allows you to play an audio or video file in the internal frame of the page. As a rule, browsers have no additional means for downloading files intended for direct viewing. AntDM extension supports capturing video links from a variety of free video hosting sites.
When an extension encounters a link to a video (audio) file or a streaming video (audio), it shows the video (audio) button or video box (depending on the browser and its settings). The user can select the appropriate video quality and download the file. AntDM will independently glue together the fragments of sound and video and synchronize them.
Support for streaming media protocols F4M, HLS, MPEG-DASH, VIMEO-STREAM allows you to search for videos on any sites.
DRM note: currently, all subscription sites are switching to a new technology to protect their content - DRM(Digital Rights Management). Unfortunately, we do not support types of streaming protocols (MPEG-DASH-DRM, HLS-DRM) of protection now.
Analyzing video links using the "Add Video Download" form
Sometimes you can get direct links to videos. They can be shared by your friends, or you meet them on forums, on social networks, on websites or they come in a different way. There is no need to insert links into the stock in the browser. Use our Add Video Download form. AntDM will analyze it and show possible quality options for downloading videos.

AntDM supports the most popular debrids: alldebrid.com, cocoleech.com, debrid-link.fr, ffdownloader.com, linksnappy.com, mega-debrid.eu, real-debrid.com, premium.rpnet.biz, simply-debrid.com, etc. To use the capabilities of Debrids, you must have paid for the service of one of the services supported by AntDM and enter the user name and password on Debrids page of the program settings. After adding a premium link in the form Add New Download AntDM, you will receive a direct link to the finished file from Debrids and the status of your account.
